Fall is quickly approaching, and the Women’s Ministry Team is busy planning a Fall Kickoff Brunch on Saturday, September 14 at 9:30 AM here in our education wing. This event is for women/girls of all ages and walks of life! We’ll enjoy a potluck brunch, hear a devotion based on this year’s Bible study book, and even participate in a garden activity. Save this date on your calendars!

Plan to attend a congregational potluck meal immediately following our worship service on Sunday, September 8 in our education wing. After our meal, Pastor Victa will introduce our Shepherd Group Community ministry and leaders for this year (September 2019 to May 2020). Everyone will have the opportunity to sign up to be part of a Shepherd Group Community.

It is our desire to be involved in our community to get to know others and share the love of Christ. One way to do this is through volunteering at community events. This summer we again have the privilege of offering a children’s activity at Chocolate Town Park’s farmers market in the center of Hershey from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM on two Saturdays: July 27 and August 24.

“Sundays Together” are certain Sunday afternoon/evenings this summer when the Kertlands’ home will be open for anyone to come and spend the day with us from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM. This is not a program or an event—it is simply a time to hang out and spend the day with others in the church—and a place for you to bring your friends to meet our church family! You can play games, do a puzzle, sit outside, or even go…

Community Fun Night at the Dolons’  – anytime from 5:30 to 8:00 PM – is a great opportunity for fellowship! You can swim in the pool (bring your own towel), play in the yard, and enjoy conversation with others from Hershey PCA. Anyone is welcome to bring dinner and eat in the pavilion. Snacks and beverages will be available as well.

Ladies! Come to Eve Dolon’s home on Saturday, August 3 at 5:00 PM for a light supper, a swim in the pool, and some conversation together. We’re asking everyone to bring any type of summer salad to share. Bring a bathing suit and towel. Come enjoy a relaxing evening with friends!

This year’s Vacation Bible School program, “Sent by the King,” will be held July 29 to August 1 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Our theme is time travel, and we will be learning about the first eight chapters of the book of Acts. VBS is for children in our church and in our community from age 3 to completed grade 5. Sign up by contacting the church.

To thank to all our set-up team members, substitutes, and their families, the deacons have scheduled an Set-up Team Appreciation Picnic on Thursday evening, July 11 at 5:30 PM at the Dolons’ home. We will grill, swim, and enjoy fellowship! Please RSVP to Eve Dolon.
