Hershey Presbyterian Church (PCA) PCA began with morning worship services in June 2015 as a second worship site of Trinity Presbyterian Church (www.trinityhbg.com), a member of the Susquehanna Valley Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America (www.pcanet.org). Trinity PCA (in Harrisburg) desired to reach out to the Hershey-area community. We used this phrase: “One church in two locations becoming two churches in two locations”

From 2015 to 2020, Hershey Presbyterian benefited from a shared leadership, shared financial plan, and some shared ministries with Trinity Presbyterian Church. At a congregational meeting held after the worship service on June 28, 2020, the members of Hershey PCA voted to petition the Susquehanna Valley Presbytery to become a particular (independent) church. Members also voted on the pastoral call of Pastor Kertland and voted to elect Hershey PCA’s first elders and deacons.

Hershey PCA officially organized as a particular church on July 12, 2020.
